“Many of us do not observe Ascension Day, do we? We are a little inconsistent in this: we observe Christmas, Good Friday and Easter Sunday! We observe Whit Sunday, but we do not observe Ascension Day, and it is a very essential part in all this movement of God’s plan.” – Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones, Saved in Eternity
